Together, they convey the idea of something boundless or endless.

Bishoy Goubran, MD
Assistant Program Director,
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

"I enjoyed moonlighting as a fellow. There is flexibility, support, and a great work environment. Opportunities to augment your experience via exposure to a variety of cases with different degrees of severity. Dr.Akira, besides being a phenomenal psychiatrist, is an inspiring figure with intelligent conversations and great leadership style, I thoroughly enjoyed working with him!"
Kirk McCall, MD
Founder and CEO, Intempo Psychiatry
Executive Chief Resident, Rush University Medical Center
"Moonlighting for Mugen Psychiatry has been an incredible experience. Having worked over 60 shifts in the past year, I've gained an increased level of comfort working with an attending level of autonomy with child/adolescent and adult patients. Since starting the job, residency has become exponentially easier and I feel extremely confident transitioning to an attending role once I graduate. I've also been able to benefit from Dr. Akira's mentorship and he's helped propel me forward in my various professional pursuits. I look forward to continuing my work with Mugen Psychiatry and would highly recommend the company for residents/fellows looking to augment their training experience!"
Rav Singh, MD
Founder and CEO, RM Psychiatry
PGY-5, UIC Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program
"Great experience with Dr. Akira. He’s an excellent mentor and psychiatrist who gives solid, practical advice that you won’t get from residency training."
Tammy Hua, MD
PGY4, University of Seattle Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program
"Moonlighting with Mugen Psychiatry has provided me valuable experiences as a trainee. By working in a different practice setting, I was able to broaden my perspective about career paths after graduation. In addition, working with complete autonomy has increased my confidence in practicing independently after residency."
Gary Wu, MD
PGY4, Columbia University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program
"I had a great experience moonlighting with Mugen Psychiatry. All of the details regarding onboarding at the hospital were streamlined so I was able to focus on seeing patients. There was support available for both clinical and administrative concerns. It was really nice to gain experience working in a non-academic system."
Nicole Lentini, MD
Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist Instructor, Northwestern Medicine
"Good opportunity to get additional experience working in community hospitals to supplement residency training. I loved the autonomy, which helped me build confidence as a clinician. I would like to add that note feedback really helped improve consistency and improve liability protection."
