What it costs

All four plans confirm the same fundamentals in their member materials: no copayments for covered services, and direct access to in-network behavioral health. For the specifics of your own coverage, your plan's member services line is the most reliable source, and our office verifies your benefits by phone before anything is scheduled.

Medicaid questions, answered

We know starting psychiatric care often comes with questions. Below are answers to some of the things people ask us most before scheduling a consultation.

I don't know which Medicaid plan I have. Can you still help?

Yes. Your medical card lists one of the HealthChoice Illinois plans, and if you send us what appears on the card, our office identifies your plan and verifies your benefits for you before anything is scheduled. Very likely, we accept it.

What does a first visit look like?

A thorough psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding you: your history, what you're experiencing now, and your goals. Together you and your clinician build a plan. There's nothing to prepare, just come as you are.

Can I be seen by video with Medicaid?

Yes. All four plans cover care by secure video anywhere in Illinois, including evaluations and medication management, with in-person visits available at our Oak Brook office.
