Frequently asked questions
We know starting psychiatric care often comes with questions. Below are answers to some of the things people ask us most before scheduling a consultation.
Who are the clinicians at Mugen Psychiatry?
Our clinicians include board-certified psychiatrists and licensed psychiatric nurse practitioners with experience across inpatient, outpatient, and specialized care settings.
Are Mugen clinicians licensed and board-certified?
Yes. All clinicians at Mugen Psychiatry hold active licenses and appropriate board certifications or credentials required to practice psychiatric care.
How do clinicians work together at Mugen?
Care is collaborative. Clinicians do not make decisions in silos and, when appropriate, work with other providers and care teams to ensure treatment is coordinated and aligned with each patient’s needs.
Will I work with the same clinician over time?
Whenever possible, Mugen prioritizes continuity of care so patients can build an ongoing relationship with their clinician rather than seeing someone new at each visit.
What guides clinical decision-making at Mugen?
Clinical decisions are based on evidence-based psychiatry, professional judgment, and patient collaboration. Treatment plans are individualized and adjusted over time as needs change.
